BLOOD IN TEXT

Each Torah and Tourniquets Workshop utilizes a small sampling of texts, ranging in format and age that aim to teach one or more Jewish themes associated with blood: death, guilt, ritual (im)purity, ritual use, antisemitism, kashrut, etc.  Compiled here are a vast array of texts across biblical, rabbinic, and modern sources that mention blood (דם, or dam) in some capacity.
